Our Story
It All Started in New York…
The story of Stars Labradoodles began more than seven years ago, almost by chance, during a trip to New York.
As we walked through the streets of the city, there seemed to be one dog everywhere: the Labradoodle. At the time, I knew very little about the breed, which was still relatively unknown in France. Intrigued by these cheerful, endearing dogs, I started to learn more about them.
And the more I discovered about the Labradoodle, the more I fell in love with the breed.
Their affectionate temperament, intelligence, sociability, close connection with people and remarkable ability to become part of family life matched everything I imagined in the ideal companion.
That was when an idea took hold: one day, I would have a Labradoodle of my own.
From Curiosity to Passion
Back in France, however, things proved to be much less straightforward.
Labradoodles were still relatively rare, and it was difficult to find breeding programs that reflected what I was looking for: carefully selected multigenerational bloodlines, breeding dogs undergoing comprehensive health and genetic testing, and above all, a genuine focus on temperament and early puppy socialization.
So I continued researching, discovering different bloodlines and learning more about the careful selection and breeding work that has shaped the Australian Labradoodle over many years.
What began as love at first sight gradually grew into a true passion.
Then Savannah Came Into Our Lives…
A few years later, Savannah came into our lives.
With her, everything that had first attracted me to the Labradoodle became a reality: her gentle nature, intelligence, joyful personality, balanced temperament and the very special bond she shares with her family.
Savannah confirmed something I had felt for a long time: I wanted to help introduce more families in France to the exceptional qualities of the Australian Labradoodle and contribute to the breed's development here.
And that is how Stars Labradoodles was born.
Why Stars Labradoodles?
Stars Labradoodles grew from a simple wish: to give other families the opportunity to discover the dog I had fallen in love with years earlier, thousands of miles from home.
Our goal is to raise healthy, well-balanced and sociable Australian Labradoodles with a strong connection to people, supported by carefully selected bloodlines and comprehensive health and genetic testing.
We want to remain a small, family-based breeding program, where our dogs share our everyday lives and every litter is thoughtfully planned and carefully prepared.
Because behind every puppy we raise, our goal remains the same: to bring wonderful lifelong companions into the world and give new families the opportunity to discover, in turn, everything that made us fall in love with the Australian Labradoodle.
A Story That Is Just Beginning
From New York to Savannah, and from Savannah to Stars Labradoodles, it took several years for this idea to become a reality.
Today, we are delighted to be writing the next chapter of our story — and perhaps, one day, to welcome you as part of it.
